A New Generation

It makes my heart sing to see my niece, Kelly, turn out garment after cute garment for her little girl, Maggie. Kelly worked in my store after school during her senior year in high school and I could tell then that she had an “eye” for combining fabrics, laces and trims, plus a real spark of interest in the whole process. She is incredibly neat and precise, qualities that are a real bonus if you produce pretty work. After her high school graduation, there was college, some post grad, marriage, and then starting a family; so it has been only since the birth of her first child that she has had a chance to get back to sewing. I guess that adorable little Maggie was the force that brought her full circle. Now Kelly even does some custom work. Following are but a few of Kelly’s recent projects, which reflect the tastes of modern moms.
