Old Dogs

There's not much I can say except that I am an old dog trying to learn new tricks. Maybe within the next day or two I'll have something to offer in the way of instructions for the dress that is shown in the header. I named this dress "Leah". Don't know why - it just seemed like a Leah to me. I name all my garments or I'd never keep them straight. It was a struggle to just get the navigational tab renamed so that's all I'll get around to today in regards to the dress. Then I'll tackle the "Books" tab.

On the subject of dogs, I might as well give you a look at my dog. His name is Squirt. Many have speculated about why I might have given him such a name. Actually, the grandchildren named him after the whale in one of the Disney movies that came out 7 or 8 years ago. Squirt suits him pretty well, though. He is a big dog trapped in a small dog's body, and do I ever have some dog tales to tell! I'll be sharing those as time goes along. And he is forever providing fresh material for me. Too bad I didn't get the idea for a book before John Grogan. Believe me, Marley didn't have a thing on Squirt.

There's not much I can say except that he is tearing his sock monkey to smitherenes. Maybe I didn't describe him accurately in the previous paragraph. He is more like "Dennis the Menace" in the body of a rat terrier.

Have you read the book "the Art of Racing in the Rain", Carol? I think you'd like it. Congratulations on your blog!

I did read "The Art of Racing in the Rain" and loved it. Sorry it took so long to respond. As you know, I'm still learning. Hope to have that Sewing page going soon.
