Today was a big day! Worked all morning on tasks related to getting our family business back on track. This will be no small chore and it is taking all of us to pull things together. Cleaning up after a flood is a big deal. It is not just a matter of replacing the flooring. Basically everything must be replaced that was below the water level, and this includes electrical wiring in our case. It will take time, effort, and moolah to put this old Humpty Dumpty together again. But we are up and running!
My afternoon was devoted to a library advocacy event. I am on the local library's board of directors and we are kicking off a capital campaign to raise funds for the new library that we so desperately need. The event was a success, so maybe we are up and running!
But the thing I got accomplished today that will probably be of the most interest to my readers is this.... all of my blog pages are linked. Nothing is posted except the most important of my pages - The Sewing page - and it is up and running!!
